Plenary session: Sharing Our Food Future

  • From 2020-2023, the City of Guelph and County of Wellington were partners in a federally-funded, $10M Smart Cities circular economy project called Our Food Future. For four years, the region worked on building a circular economy focused on the food sector, targeting waste re-direction, business development, and food access as deep learning goals. This rich case study will provide multiple examples of successful partnerships, climate connections, and legacy actions.
